Basildon: Armed Robbery CCTV Released

Police in Basildon have issued CCTV pictures of two young men wanted in connection with attempting to rob a store in Whitmore Way in Basildon.

Police in Basildon have issued CCTV pix of two young men wanted in connection with an attempt to rob a store in Whitmore Way in Basildon.

The incident happened at 3.40pm on Monday, June 4th when the two entered the convenience store are threatened the cashier with a knife.

However, they were then chased out of the store by staff and nothing was taken.

The suspect with the knife is described as teenage - 20 years old, medium build, 6ft tall wearing a dark grey/green jacket with a hood, black sports bottoms.

The second is a shorter, black man of muscular build wearing a balaclava, black sleeveless jacket with a long sleeved black top underneath and carrying a white and red drawstring bag on this back.
