A teenage boy's been rescued, after getting stuck in mud in Hullbridge.
It happened last night on Pooles Lane.
Three fire crews were called around 5.15pm.
The 14 year-old boy who was trapped in mud, was stuck up to his thighs when the emergency services arrived.
They used two rescue paths (large buoyant plastic paths firefighters use to spread their weight to reach people trapped in mud).
He was out by 6pm and was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
