Police investigating a stabbing Braintree over the weekend say they believe it was a "targeted attack".
A 25 year-old man from the town was stabbed in the back and hip at St George's Park on Dunstable Drive just before 6pm on Saturday (9 April).
Essex Police said: "He was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and remains in hospital in a serious but not life threatening condition.
"It is believed the incident was a targeted attack and witness reports lead police to understand around two youths may have been involved in the assault on the victim.
