Essex Police say they are no longer treating he death of a woman in Chafford Hundred as suspicious.
Officers were called to an address in Dudley Close at around 5pm on Saturday (7 May) after reports paramedics had found a woman in her 40s dead there.
Initially, the death was treated as suspicious and a 36 year-old man was arrested.
Essex Police said: "A post-mortem was carried out on Sunday, May 8 and has ruled out any third party involvement in the death.
"We are no longer treating it as suspicious and the man who was arrested has been released without charge.
"Police will now be preparing a file for the coroner".
