Clacton: Man Charged With Murder

A man has been charged with the murder of his mother in Clacton.

37 year old, Peter Dickson of St Vincent Road in the town, is due in court tomorrow.

Essex Police had been contacted shortly before 7pm on Friday, November 2nd, following concerns for a woman inside a flat on St Vincent Road.

Officers forced their way into the property of 66 year old Carol Cooper, who lived there.

She was confirmed dead at the scene.
