Clacton: Man Suffers Severe Leg Injury After Stabbing

A man has been stabbed in a block of flats in Clacton.

Emergency services were called to the building on Wellesley Road just after 9.30pm yesterday (Monday 10 February).

An Essex Police spokesman told Heart: "The victim, who is in his 40s, has suffered a severe leg injury and has been taken to an Essex hospital."

A cordon is in place while an investigation is carried out.

Officers say they are examing CCTV footage from surrounding roads.
