Top Colchester attraction Rollerworld has reopened after a 'clerical error' with payment of rent caused it to close suddenly last Tuesday.
The rink, based at Moorside, is set to experience one of its busiest periods over the Easter school holidays.
Managing Director Andy Starr told Heart that the sudden closure was the first in the rink's 27 year history: "We offer our sincerest apologies to all of our guests that have been affected by last week's unexpected closures.

"We understand the disappointment this has caused and we are working hard to do everything we can to put things right.
"The administrative error concerned a rent payment that wasn't made in time so I had to apply to a district judge to get the venue's lease re-instated."
“The money was in the bank account and was ready to be paid. We used to own the building but have leased it for the past nine years.
“In all that time, we have never missed a rent payment and we won’t miss one again.”
Mr Starr added Rollerworld will be open throughout the Easter weekend.
