Essex: Hospices Look Ahead To 2012

With the economic downturn and government cuts it's been a tough year for hospices in Essex.

As part of an exclusive feature on Heart over the Christmas, we've been finding out what their priorities are for 2012.

The St Clare Hospice in Harlow, J's in Chelmsford, St Helena's in Colchester and Havens in Southend all say this year has been both difficult and challenging.

With changes to the way the health service is run on the way there are worries about future funding.

Less spare change in our pockets generally also means there are concerns fund-raising could be tougher next year.
