Essex Police have charged a 50-year-old man after a woman's body was found in a caravan in Clacton.
Officers were called to the Valley Farm Holiday Park off Valley Road at 11am on Monday (4 November) and found the body of a 52-year-old woman from Halstead.
A post-mortem examination was conducted the following day with the provisional result unable to ascertain a cause of death.
As a result, further toxicology tests will now be carried out and these results are expected in January 2014.
The death continues to be treated as unexplained.
50-year-old David Parker, from Evans Court in Halstead, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with one count of breaching a court restraining order and one count of intending to pervert the course of justice.
He has been detained in police custody prior to his appearance at Colchester Magistrates Court later today (Thursday 7 November).
The inquest into the woman's death is expected to be opened and adjourned today.
