Essex Rail Disruption This Weekend

If you're hoping to travel by train in Essex this weekend you may want to check the service before you go.

For the second bank holiday weekend Greater Anglia are replacing more overhead wires, this time over at Ilford.

It's part of a series of Network Rail infrastructure upgrades which the operator says will improve the service and means they'll be able to run their new fleet of trains.

Buses are replacing trains on some services and you're being advised to check before travelling.
