A man has died following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Thorpe-Le-Soken.

A man has died following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Thorpe-Le-Soken.

Emergency services were called to Colchester Road on Friday to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a silver Citroen Xsara Picasso at around 10.20pm.

Police and paramedics arrived and the man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital by air ambulance, where he later died of his injuries.
 
There's been no arrests at this stage.

Police they'd like to talk to anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision and has dashcam footage or information.
