Fraud Suspect Sought For In Essex

Police want to identify a man in connection with a fraud investigation in Basildon.

It's after a stolen credit card was used on four occasions at the Currys store in Basildon during a 15-minute lunchtime shopping spree on Saturday 30 July.

The suspect bought a large-screen television, several computer games, a quantity of cigarettes and cashback.

Pc Natalie Blackwell, said: "This man had some nerve in using this card, possibly just minutes after it had been lost or stolen. Thankfully, the bank realised fairly quickly that his card had been used illegally and so was able to put a stop on it; otherwise, the consequences could have been more costly.”

The man is described as white, in his 30s, about 5ft 6ins tall, has a receding hairline and was wearing a blue T-shirt with the number 32 written on the front and white trainers.
