A cyclist has died after he was hit by a car in Harlow.
It happened at 7pm yesterday (Monday September 3rd) on Elizabeth Way, close to the junction with Parndon Mill Road.
The victim, a 62-year-old local man, died at the scene after he was bit a blue Vauxhall Corse.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old woman who is also from the town, was uninjured in the accident.
She has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Boreham on 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
