Latchingdon: Teen Charged With Road Death
A teenager's been charged with causing death by careless driving - after a crash on the Dengie Peninsula nine months ago.
The collision happened in Latchingdon when a Honda Fireblade and a Vauxhall Corsa crashed on Burnham Road shortly after midday on Thursday June 28, 2012.
Motorcyclist, 60-year-old Michael Marshall from Fambridge Road in Maldon, died at the scene.
An 18-year-old man from the Maldon area was arrested at the scene and has now been charged with one count of causing death by careless driving.
He has been released on police bail prior to his appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Thursday, April 4.
