A 45 year old man has been charged with kidnap after a three year old boy went missing in Essex.
The young boy disappeared last Sunday (3rd May) sparking a search across the county.
Robert Gurling, a tradesmen from Linden Street in Romford, has now been charged with kidnap. He will appear before Chelmsford Magistrates' Court tomorrow (May 11th).
Two other people have also been arrested in connection with the investigation. Laurence Payne, who's 40 from Dereham Place in Romford, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court yesterday (May 9th) charged with assisting an offender. The computer programmer was remanded in custody until Wednesday, May 27 when he will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court.
A woman from Guildford in Surrey was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed pending further enquiries until tomorrow (May 11th).
