Man Charged With Harlow Stabbing

A man has been charged with attempting to murder his flatmate in Harlow.

A man in his 50s was stabbed at a property on Halling Hill shortly after 4am yesterday (Monday 19 May). He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

Michael McFarlane was arrested a few hours later on Pittman's Field and has now been charged with attempted murder.

The 58-year-old man from Halling Hill has been detained in police custody prior to his appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates court today.
