Man Dies After Argument In Southend

Tributes have been paid to a man who died after being flown to hospital following an argument in Southend.

It happened outside Churchills Bar in Tylers Avenue early on Sunday.

Police were called after reports a man from Rayleigh had collapsed after being involved in an altercation with several other men.

Post mortem results have proven inconclusive so further tests are being carried out to establish how Reece Lamude, from the Rayleigh area, died.

The 37-year-old's family has paid tribute: "Reece was a warm-hearted, hard-working, ambitious family man. He was a loving father, son, brother and fiancé. He was out celebrating a friend’s birthday.

"His life with his fiancé was just beginning. He was a fantastic father and it is ironic how he was lost on Father’s Day.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently being interviewed by police.
