A murder enquiry's been launched after a man died from stab wounds in Southend.
The 30-year-old man, who was from Westcliff, was stabbed in the chest in Park Lane on Tuesday afternoon and was found collapsed in Park Road nearby.
He was treated at the scene and taken to Southend General Hospital where he died the next morning, Wednesday 3rd June.
Police are now looking for two men seen running away from the Park Lane scrap yard where it's believed the victim was stabbed.
The first man is described as white, gaunt looking, of skinny build, 5ft 11ins tall, aged 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a baggy top which may have been white in colour.
The second man was darker skinned.
DCI Simon Werrett of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: "This enquiry has now become a murder investigation and I urgently need any information from members of the public may have which will assist my team in tracing the people responsible for killing this man."
