A man in his 70s has died after a car crash on the A133 near Clacton.
Two vehicles collided at Weeley at around 5pm yesteday (Monday, 28 March).
Essex Police said: "It involved a red Ford Focus being driven by a man aged in his 70s who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, and a beige Kia Sedona.
"The occupants of the Kia, a man and a woman aged in their 60s, both suffered serious injuries and were air lifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where the man’s condition is described as life threatening.
"Any witnesses are asked to contact officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email email@example.com".
