Man found dead in Colchester

A man has been found dead in Colchester.
His body was found in Ryegate Road at around 8.20 this morning.
He had suffered a stab wound to his back.
In a statement, Essex Police said:
"Enquiries remain at an early stage and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area this morning and saw what happened, or has any information, to call the North Major Crime team on 101 quoting incident 208 of today’s date.

Another man, in his 40's, is in a serious condition in hospital after he was found with similar injuries in George Street last night.
Police are looking into whether the attacks are linked.
