Man Remanded In Custody Over Grays Murder

A man's appeared in court in connection with the death of a man in Grays over the weekend.
24 year old Kevin Malthouse from Stanford-le-hope suffered multiple stab wounds in Blackshots Lane on Saturday morning.
Jack Taylor who is 18 and of Oakley Close in Grays was charged with the murder of Mr Malthouse and three counts of wounding with intent.
He's been remanded in custody to appear at crown court tomorrow.
A 22-year-old man from Grays who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on conditional bail, pending further enquiries.
A 21-year-old man from South Ockendon who was arrested on suspicion of murder was released without charge and faces no further action.
