Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Assault In Leigh

A 19 year old man's suffered serious injuries to his face after he was assaulted by two men in Leigh.
The incident started inside Broadway Grill in Broadway at about 1.20am yesterday (Saturday, April 11) and continued out into the street near the Mariners Court pub.
The 19-year-old victim from Rayleigh was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
Both suspects were seen heading in the direction of St Clement's Church in Broadway.
One was described as white, aged in his late 20s and 6ft 2ins tall. He was of muscular build, had short light brown hair and wore a navy blue long sleeved top and blue jeans.
The second suspect was aged in his late 20s, possibly of mixed race and of medium build. He was clean shaven, had dark hair, and wore a white vest top under a long sleeved red checked shirt and light blue jeans.
