More Arrests Over Pitsea Stabbing

A total of five teenagers have now been arrested over a stabbing in Pitsea.

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest in Felmores End at around 4.30pm on Wednesday August 12.

The victim was taken to Basildon Hospital for treatment and is said to have made good progress and has been discharged.

A 14-year-old boy from Barking and two 15-year-old girls, one from Basildon and one from Billericay, were all detained on the Wednesday and taken to police stations for questioning.

Two further teenagers, a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, both from Basildon, were then arrested on Friday August 14.

They were taken to police stations in Basildon and Rayleigh for questioning on suspicion of attempted murder.

All five suspects have been released on police bail, pending further enquiries, to report back on Wednesday October 14.
