Rape Arrested After Basildon Nightclub Assault

A 26 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following reports a woman was assaulted inside a nightclub in Basildon.
A woman reported being attacked at the Festival Leisure Park in the early hours of 21 February.
Essex Police said: "A 26-year-old man from Romford was arrested on suspicion of rape when he attended Rayleigh police station on Tuesday, March 22.
"He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until June 26".
