We are used to getting a little treat each morning in the lead up to Christmas, but people in Braintree are being asked to turn that on its head this year.
Braintree Area Foodbank's reverse advent calendar isn't about getting a chocolate every day.
Instead, it's asking people to collect and donate items on a daily basis to give to people in need instead.
You can download the calendar from braintreearea.foodbank.org.uk
The foodbank says as fast as donations have been coming in, they are going straight out to those in need, meaning it is "very short" on basic food items.
