Schoolbus And Car Collide In Essex

Five people, including four children, have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A120 near Colchester.

Emergency crews were called around 4.30 yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 16 November) after a car and coach collided at Great Bromley.

Around 15 firefighters were called after the car involved caught fire.  

The driver, in his 20s, was taken to hospital suffering from shock and neck pain.

There were approximately 30 children on the bus who were assessed at the scene. 

Four children sustained neck pain, three have been placed in neck collars.
