Southend Robbery: Man Left Unconscious

A robbery has left a man spark out cold on the ground in Southend.

The victim, a man in his 50s, had left The Lamb and Lion pub in Station Road at around 11pm on Friday, October 5 and was walking towards The Plough.

He was approached from behind and struck on the head, knocking him unconscious.

The victim's mobile phone and wallet were taken and he was left with a one inch wound to the back of his head.
