Third Arrest Over Ladimeji Murder In Chelmsford

Police investigating the murder of Ladimeji Benson in Chelmsford on Tuesday have made a third arrest.

The 27 year-old, who was from Chelmsford but had been living in Chelmsford, was stabbed following a fight at around 6.45pm on Baddow Road.

Essex Polcie said: "A 20-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody awaiting questioning.

"Two men from Chelmsford aged 22 and 25 who were arrested in connection with the ongoing police investigation have been bailed to January 6, pending further enquiries.
