Three men have been charged over the death of a man at an industrial site in Harlow.
63 year-old Nikolai Valkov was injured during a fall at Koseoglu Metal Works on River Way in April last year.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hosptial in Harlow but later died.
Essex Police said: "Mr Valkov's employer Kadir Kose, 51, of Cavendish Street, Hoxton, of Koseoglu Metal Works, was arrested following the incident and subsequently charged with conniving or consenting to an offence by a corporate body under section 37 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 as a director of Koseoglu Metal Works.
"The company is charged with corporate manslaughter and failure to discharge a duty under section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
"Koseoglu Metal Works was responsible for the work being carried out at the site.
"Also charged with the conniving or consenting offence having been summonsed to court were Firat Ozdil, 41, of Bowood Road, Enfield and Ozgur Ozdil, 32, of Cherrydown Avenue, Chingford, as directors of Ozdil Investments Ltd, owners of the River Way premises.
"Ozdil Investments Ltd is also charged with corporate manslaughter and failure to discharge a duty under section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
"All appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 9, and the case was adjourned to Chelmsford Crown Court on April 6".
