Three Men Charged Over Southend Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Hassan Mohammed have charged three more men with his murder.
Hassan Mohammed of Camberwell in London, died in Southend Hospital on Tuesday, July 8, following an incident in York Road which took place at around 7pm on Monday the 7th of July.
The 24 year-old suffered two stab wounds. A post mortem revealed the provisional cause of his death as blood loss from the stabbing.
Danzel Bhebhe, 21, of Inverness Avenue, Westcliff, unemployed, Simbarashe Zemura, 18, of Kursaal Way, Southend, also unemployed, appeared before magistrates in Chelmsford today (Thursday, October 9) charged with murder of Hassan Mohammed.
Police have also charged Vasile Iftinca, aged 40, from Southend, with murder. He was charged earlier this month with attempting to pervert the course of justice and is currently on remand in prison. He also appeared in court today.
All three have been remanded in custody until their next appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday, October 13.
Meanwhile, 18 year-old student Tajwar Alam from Seaford Road, North London has previously appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court (on July 15th) after being charged with murder and with possession of a bladed instrument. He has been remanded in custody until a court hearing on Oct 23rd at Chelmsford Crown Court.
