Two men have been arrested over the murder of missing Kelvedon man Chris May.

25 year-old Chris was last seen on the 25th May 2015.

Last month, on the first anniversary of his disappearance, Essex Police said the investigation was now a murder inquiry and the believe his death was related to the fact he had recently started selling drugs.

This morning, in a pre-planned operation, two men were arrested.

Essex Police said: "A 35-year-old man from Braintree has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Chris May while a 25-year-old man from Kelvedon has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to Chris’ murder.

"They have been taken to a police station for questioning having been arrested at 6am.

"A reward of up to £10,000 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible".
