Woman Charged Over Chelmsford Stabbing

Police have charged a woman after a man was stabbed in a house in Chelmsford.

Officers were called to the property on Burnell Gate at arounde 5am yesterday (Monday 26th May).

The man, who is in his 30s, was taken to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge where he was treated for puncture wounds to his chest which are not life-threatening.

21-year-old Naomi Chanover, of Burnell Gate, is due at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court today charged with wounding with intent.
