A woman has been charged with causing a fatal crash in Grays.

A car and a motorbike collided at the junction of Derby Road Bridge and New Road just before 7pm on 26 June last year.

The motorcyclist, a 27 year-old man, was taken to hospital but died from his injuries a week later.

65 year-old Patricia Coster, from Connaught Avenue in Grays, has been charged with causing death by careless driving.

She is due to appear before Basildon Magistrates' Court on 5 May.
