Woman Pushed Over And Sexually Assaulted In Harlow

A woman has been grabbed, pushed over and sexually assaulted in Harlow.

The 38-year-old was walking from the railway station when it happened at around 11:30pm on Thursday night (17/03).

As she reached the footpath between Fifth Avenue and Newstead Way a man grabbed her from behind and then assaulted her.

He ran off after a dog walker disturbed them.

The suspect is described as about 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and possibly had dark hair. He was wearing a hooded top and was carrying a rucksack.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the man who was walking his dog in Newstead Way. He was wearing a baseball cap and casual clothing.
