A woman has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a car crash in Buckhurst Hill.
A Nissan Micra and a Mini Countryman collided on Roding Lane at around 11.20pm yesterday (Thursday, 4 February).
Essex Police said: "The Nissan driver, a woman aged in her 60s from Woodford Green, suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital.
"The Mini driver, a man aged in his 80s from Ilford, suffered injuries to his arm and was taken to Queens Hospital in Romford.
"Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Chigwell roads policing unit on 101".
The road was closed until around 5pm while police investigated.
