Nile Rodgers & Chic To Return To Newmarket In 2019

The legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic are returning to the July Course on Saturday 8th June.

The lineup for the 2019 season of live music at Newmarket is hotting up and Heart can exclusively reveal the details about a family-friendly Summer Saturday Live with Nile Rodgers & Chic.

With more than 200 production credits to his name, expect to hear some of the best-known pop anthems from the last four decades on the July Course this summer on Saturday 8th June.

Nile Rodgers & Chic will join a longs list of talented artists confirmed to play at Newmarket this summer, such as; Madness, Rudimental and Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra.

Nile Rodgers & Chic

Nile Rodgers is one of the musical greats of his generation and one of the co-founders of CHIC.

The multiple GRAMMY-winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist is returning for the second summer in a row at Newmarket Racecourse and will be performation chart-topping hits like “Le Freak” and “Good Times”.

His productions for artists like David Bowie (incl. ‘Lets Dance’), Diana Ross (incl. ‘Upside Down’, ‘I’m Coming Out’) and Madonna (incl. ‘Material Girl’, ‘Like A Virgin’) have sold over 300 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide.

He also worked on trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure and Sam Smith in recent years

Saturday 8th June promises to be one of the highlights of the summer season.
