A New Start for Troubled Teenagers
A fresh start for mainly teenage lads to get them off drugs and alcohol and in to work.
Amber runs an extremely successful predominantly social skills programme which progressively teaches independent living without the need for drug and alcohol abuse and the need to offend.
The programme is person centred, and after a thorough needs assessment a support plan is agreed and implemented.
The residents and a team leader have undertaken the ASB Diversion Scheme and can give a firsthand account as to the value/benefit of the intervention.
Karl works with troubled lads in a Devon residential home.
