13 Year Old Robbed in Dunstable

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for a witness to a robbery in Dunstable to come forward.

The offence happened at about 3.30pm on Sunday December 5th in Cemetery Road where a 13-year-old boy and his friend were approached by a group of four teenage boys.

One of the boys snatched a silver Apple Ipod from the victims hand before making their escape.

The victim raised the alarm and police arrested four teenage boys who were taken to Dunstable Police Station and later released on police bail

Police are keen to speak with a man who was kicking a ball around the green next to the play park area. The man told a witness he had seen the offenders flee.

 DC Dick Cunningham, of the Robbery Squad, said: "We are keen to speak to anyone in the park at the time, in particular a man in his late fifties to early sixties, around 5’7” tall with grey hair and wearing jogging bottoms. Anyone who has any information about this robbery, we would urge them to contact us in confidence.”
