Biker Badly Hurt In Lathbury Collision

A motorbike rider has been left with serious head injuries after a collision with another biker near Newport Pagnell.

Emergency services were called at around 7pm on Friday (5th Oct), when two motorbikes were involved in a collision where both riders came off their bikes on Northampton Road in Lathbury.

One rider, a 32 year-old man, suffered a serious injury to his head and is in John Radcliffe Hospital in a critical condition. He was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle.

The other rider, a 29 year-old man who was riding a red BMW, suffered minor injuries to his chest and leg. He received treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital and has since been discharged.

Investigating Officer PC Doug Murphy, of Road Policing at Milton Keynes station, said:

"This was a nasty collision in which both motorcycle riders sustained injuries, and one of them is in a critical condition in hospital.

We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either motorcycle along the roads nearby just before the accident happened at 7pm."
