This time 9 years ago today, firefighters were still struggling to bring under control the huge fire at the Buncefield Oil Depot.
An explosion ripped through the plant at 05.57 on the morning of Sunday December 11th, 2005.
The blast was said to be the biggest explosion in peacetime in Europe and was heard for around a hundred miles.
Dozens of families were evacuated from their homes around the plant in Hemel Hempstead - many didn't return for weeks, months and in some cases years.
