CCTV Issued After Boy Looked At Under Cubicle Door

Police investigating an incident of voyeurism in Hitchin are releasing CCTV images of a man they wish to speak with as part of a further appeal for information.

The incident occurred at around 4.15pm on Friday, August 1, in the male changing room at the swimming pool in Fishponds Road. A teenage boy was getting changed in a cubicle when a man entered an adjacent cubicle and looked underneath to watch the boy.

The boy saw the man and so he moved to a different cubicle. The man again went into the cubicle next to the boy’s and tried to look underneath. The boy realised and the man then left the changing room.

Detective Sergeant Terri Heredia is investigating and said: "We would like to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to assist us with our investigation. If you believe you know this man’s identity please contact me straight away."

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact DS Heredia via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference G1/14/2021. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
