Assault in Hemel

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Hemel Hempstead in the early hours of Christmas Day.

The incident occurred at around 12.40am outside The Function Rooms in Waterhouse Street. A 23 year old man, who was out with friends, was assaulted by a man who pushed him to the floor. During the incident the victim suffered a broken arm.

PC Peter Spiers from the Local Crime Unit in Hemel Hempstead is investigating and said: “We know there were quite a few people in the area at the time and I would ask if you were there and saw what happened or have any information which would assist the investigation to contact police.”
