Two people have died following a two car crash in Wolverton.
At around 10.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 14th Dec) two cars, a BMW and a Hyundai, were travelling along the Stratford Road, when they collided.
A man, a passenger in the BMW died of his injuries at the scene.
The driver, and another man and a woman were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The woman subsequently died in hospital today (15/12).
The driver remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. The other male passenger was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains and is currently in a critical condition.
A man and woman in the Hyundai, received minor injuries and were taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital; they've now been discharged.
The road re-opened this morning (Thurs 15th Dec).
Investigating officer PC Sandra Terry, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
"Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision in which two people sadly died, or anyone who has any information about the collision, even if you think it may be insignificant, please come forward with details.
