Neil Strangward

The family of Neil Strangward (pictured) who died in a road traffic collision in Lings Way earlier this month have paid tribute to him today.

Mr Stangward was killed on Saturday lunchtime the 13th of July, when a blue Toyota Prius car was waiting to turn right from Lings Way into Birds Hill Road - that car was hit from behind by a grey BMW.

The impact of that collision pushed the Prius into the opposite carriageway where it was in collision with Neil’s motorcycle.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

“Neil was an excited new husband, generous son, caring brother and proud father, who was loving and loved by everybody.

He always found sincere joy and unique skill in everything he did.

He was a talented engineer and found a great, life-long passion in his motorbike.

He was a responsible rider and will always be remembered this way.

He is missed so much by us all.”
