Hemel "Plastic Bag" Robber Caught On CCTV

Police are releasing moving CCTV footage of a robbery which occurred in Hemel Hempstead in May, where the offender wore a carrier bag to mask his appearance.
It happened at the "Day One" store in Bennetts Gate at approximately 8.40am on Friday the 9th of May.
Police say a man entered the store with a white 'Londis' plastic bag over his head and walked behind the counter He brandished a knife and asked the member of staff for the money. He then removed money from the till and made off in the direction of Leys Road.
The staff member was not injured during the incident.
The video footage featured on TV last night - and was released by Herts Police
DC Paula Mowbray from the Local Crime Unit at Hemel Hempstead Police Station is investigating saying:
"This was a distressing incident for the owner of the store and we continue to make efforts to identify this man. It's an unusual choice of disguise and clearly parts of his face are still on display which is why we're releasing this footage in the hope that someone will know who he is.
If you believe you can identify this man please make contact as soon as possible."
