The NHS say the temporary overnight closure of Hemel Hempstead Urgent Care Centre will now remain in place - until further notice.
The new opening times at the Urgent Care Centre are 8am to 10pm daily, and is in place "to protect patient safety; it has not been possible to secure sufficient GP cover overnight to guarantee the service."
The future of the overnight service will be reviewed early in 2017 and any longer term decision to close the night service at the Urgent Care Centre would only be made after appropriate consultation.
No longer term decisions have been made.
Anyone who needs urgent advice or treatment should call 111.
The NHS 111 service will help people get the treatment they need and this might mean that the service arranges a night time appointment with a doctor at the out of hours base in Hemel Hempstead.
