Wellingborough Council has received 85 thousand pounds worth of government funding to tackle homelessness.
The money will provide support and guidance for families facing a housing crisis or experiencing living on the streets.
Leader of the Borough Council of Wellingborough, Cllr Martin Griffiths, said: "We are all too aware of the national rise in families and individuals facing a housing crisis, and we are committed to doing all we can to provide support for people in need.
"This funding will enable us to deliver further support services for our residents. We have a dedicated housing team who are able to provide guidance and advice for anyone who may be facing homelessness."
