Independent inspectors say firefighters in Northamptonshire need to improve various areas of the service they offer the public.
The review suggests they need to improve how effectively and efficiently people are protected from fires - and other dangers.
The chief of the Northants Fire & Service say they now have more fire engines available during the day - and have changed they way they work to - enable more appliances to available 24/7 - which should improve response times.
