Junior Doctors Strike For Second Time

Junior doctors in England are going on strike this morning for the second time.
The 24 hour walkout which starts at 8 o'clock is over a row with the government about planned changes to contracts.
Nearly 3,000 procedures have been cancelled.
The message from our hospitals locally is for outpatients to turn up as normal for appointments.
West Herts NHS Trust which covers the hospitals in St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Watford say any affected has already been written to.
But the advice across Herts, Beds, Bucks and Northants is still to NOT go to A&E if you don't have to - and to remember GPs, minor injury units and pharmacists can help as alternatives.
