Man Attacked By Large Group In Dunstable

Bedfordshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a large group of men in the early hours of Friday morning.

The man was walking through the Woodside Industrial Estate on Eyncourt Road, when he was approached by 12 men.

The men demanded he hand over money and threatened him before proceeding to assault him, knocking him unconscious.

DC Gill Cowley said: "This is a particularly horrible, and completely unprovoked, serious attack which has left the victim with several injuries. We're urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with information which could help us identify those responsible, to contact us immediately."

Of the 12 men, 10 are believed to be black and two are believed to be white. One of the men is described as black, 5'10", with a star tattoo under one of his eyes. He was believed to be wearing a bandana around his lower face and is described as speaking with a strong London accent.
